Pushkar in Rajasthan is surrounded by Thar Desert. The best time for camping is from late October to February. In the winter months when the heat has lessened, enjoy the beauty and adventures of the desert. November is the time of the Pushkar fair and that is the time crowd throng to the sleepy town. If you want a dose of festival excitement then choose November or give that month a miss to avoid crowds. The peaceful winters provide the best views and adventures.
